RAMBO WINS MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD IN CYPRUS

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Greetings from sunny Cyprus from our man Kenny Ramsay. See attached pictures of Kenny’s day where we had a media training session with Kenny Black watched by Craig Levein. Kenny was very pleased to say he won the keepy up competition(Madonna or Maradona) and ran the legs off the young journalists team (all mid 30′s) winning 3-0. The opposition included his reporter Robert Grieve which was rather pleasing. Watching First Touch coaching every week, it was all about keeping the ball and making them run until they dropped !!
Will Rambo feature on Friday for the Scotland V Cyprus game or will he only make the bench…….did Craig Levein find the next Darren Fletcher…….watch this space,

BARRZY WINS 2nd GOUROCK OPEN AT TROON

Barrzy wins 2nd Gourock annual Golf at Troon

Matthew Barrs continued the Barrzy family tradition of golf success with
his victory in Sunday’s annual 2nd Gourock BB golf day, which this year,
took place at Troon GC. Barzzy was the youngest competitor from 24 boys
who took part in difficult conditions over the 18 hole competition. His
score of 46 stableford points secured victory from second place Cameron
Hyde with next best 42 points. An impressive victory for Matthew in his
first golf competition, which continues the Barrs family success in this
event with big brother Adam Barrs winning in 2009 at St Andrews

Good to know that the Barrs have one golfer in the family, especially after the recent drubbing his dad Ben(supposedly a six handicapper) and his partner flown in from the Shetlands for an annual grudge match versus coaches Jamieson & McClurg. Many will have read Ben’s victory email last year but sadly it seems he doesnt send reports when he is defeated…..with no answer to the deft touches of DJ on the greens…and the big hitting McClurg on the tees the match was over with plenty of holes to play. As they say big yin…your only as good as your last game.
